WHAT PEOPLE SAY

young black male entrepreneur explaining reasons for success

Alvaro, Business Owner

Skills showed a lot of belief in me and made themselves available right when I needed them. They kept advising me about lots of things to do with setting up a business and gave me the real push and confidence to start my first one. Now I'm on my third!

Kayah, Business Owner

The guys at SDT had been mentoring me around my business. They even recently advised me about the impact of COVID and my initial plans for expansion. I always knew that I'd have a long relationship with SDT because they are genuinely interested in you and want to succeed as much as you!

Anika, Apprentice

SDT were amazing! I attended their entrepreneur course and learned enough to give it a go. I've since become an apprentice but couldn't have done it without their guidance. Through SDT I was better able to understand concepts I was studying in business.

FOR YOU BY YOU (4YBU), Positive Futures, Southwark Council 2019

For You By You, 2019-20

Our Director, Sikiru explains what the Southwark Council's Positive Futures Fund project looks like and how it was designed to provide an alternative space for 8 - 14 year olds who have an interest in music production.

The project ran out of the now defunct Biscuit Factory space in Bermondsey and was a regularly busy studio of incredible sounds and talents of our young people of Southwark.

One of our remarkable talents gets to work on a beat...

SkillsFC, Sport England 2019 - 2021

SkillsFC, Haringey 2019-21

A project that brought us much joy - providing community football training exercises and sessions for 5 - 14 year olds interested in football. Sport England funded the project in 2019-20 and we continued to run it successfully throughout 2021 as a mechanism to allow children and their parents some physical and mental wellbeing as we coped with lockdown and the pandemic.

The project later expanded into Greenwich as we continued to grow. SkillsFC is currently on a winter break so please stay in touch for updates on its return.

SkillsFC, Greenwich 2019-21

Its always in the development, so we're happy to hear that they are always learning. Hear it from their own mouths instead!

The Greenwich branch of our weekly football training sessions at Winns Common was always in demand as the boys improved their fitness, technique and ability under the tutelage of a renowned Coach Garnett.
