What the workshops cover
-
Week 1 – Money mindset, saving & budgeting
Explore attitudes to money, common traps, saving and what “taking control” really looks like. Learn how to build a simple budget, track income and spending, and find small changes that make a big difference. By the end of the session, each participant creates a basic personal budget they can actually use.

-
Week 2 – Debt & credit management, staying out of trouble
This week breaks down debt and managing credit; from credit cards, buy-now-pay-later and overdrafts in a clear, non‑judgemental way. Learn the difference between “good” and “bad” debt, how interest works, what credit scores are, and practical steps to avoid problem debt or start dealing with it if it is already an issue.

-
Week 3 – Protecting what's important to you
In this session, we explore the oft-misunderstood importance of insurance - why it's necessary and how it makes you money by preserving wealth.

-
Week 4 – Introduction to investing & planning for the future
The final week introduces you to the world of investing. Explore the various ways and forms of investing money to build wealth safely and in an accessible way. This session will explain risk, reward and the power of starting early - whether through property, pensions, bonds, stocks, or shares, this session will provide you with a starting point, including side incomes and building financial independence. The focus is on informed choices, not on "get rich quick" schemes.
